The All on 6 treatment principle involves the placement of a total of twelve implants, six on the upper jaw and six on the lower jaw, supporting a fixed prosthesis. This effectively fills the missing tooth spaces, allowing patients to achieve both functional and aesthetic benefits. Known for restoring the sensation and functionality of natural teeth, the All on 6 treatment can boost your confidence by revitalizing chewing ability, speech, and overall oral health.
The All-On-6 technique, with its multitude of advantages, emerges as an excellent choice for those seeking a stable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing dental restoration solution.
The journey towards an All-On-6 treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment during the initial visit. We conduct an X-ray, often an orthopantomography, and in some cases, a CT scan to precisely evaluate the patient’s bone structure. This diagnostic study aids in determining the quantity and quality of available bone, enabling us to meticulously plan the upcoming surgical procedure. Additionally, study models are prepared and sent to our prosthetist to craft a temporary prosthesis that will be utilized during the treatment.
Once the diagnostic phase is concluded, the surgery takes place at our state-of-the-art facilities. Our experienced team performs the surgical procedure, precisely placing the six implants into the designated areas. Following the surgery, our skilled prosthetist designs and adjusts the prosthesis, ensuring a snug fit in alignment with the implant positions.
Post-surgery, a series of scheduled reviews are integral to monitor the progress of the treatment. The initial review occurs a couple of days after the prosthesis placement, examining the immediate postoperative phase. Upon completion of the osseointegration process, typically around three months post-surgery, the final prosthesis fabrication commences. Subsequently, after the placement of the final prosthesis, a structured revision protocol is followed to ensure its functionality and compatibility.
